Once the novelty of a rock gig in the centre of Bath wore off you were left to focus on the performance itself. After listening to Meatloaf's pelting power ballads on his highly acclaimed "Bat Out of Hell" album the show looked set to be immense. And it was. Unfortunately - whether is was down to his recent throat problems or the copious amounts of beer he consumed that night - the big man's vocals pailed in insignificance next to those of his remarkable female backing...
