We say...

Wow, was what she said last time we walked in to The Daffodil. So my girlfriend’s reaction this time would be interesting. Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen has been at work in the old Art Deco building and we were fearful that the beautiful old cinema might be covered in the type of animal-print stencils he used to inflict on people’s living rooms on Changing Rooms. It was a fear I expressed to Laurence a few weeks ago in the old dining room which had been reduced to a dusty shell....

I took my mum for lunch here as a mother's day treat. She used to come to the Daffodil when it was a cinema when she was a young girl and so it was a trip down memory lane for her. We could not fault anything. My mum loved it. Thank you.
