Jean McConnell’s series of funny and poignant playlets for women are all set on and around two deckchairs. Her keen-eyed views of human nature are sometimes hilarious, sometimes touching, but always written with truth and compassion. The Playhouse is proud to present six of these playlets, both comedies and dramas, all delicately observing life and full of colourful and animated characters.
